The Windows build is using python 3.8 while the Ubuntu build is using python 3.7.
Seems to work well and fixed issues with ZX Spectrum slot devices. To get around it, I read the slot devices from the INI file and add them to the command line when calling MAME. Again, seems like odd behaviour if it’s by design. It doesn’t seem to be parsing the slot devices before checking valid media types when MAME is invoked. flop1), MAME won’t see it and reports that it’s an unknown media type. Even if you add the correct slot devices into the systems INI file (the slot devices that add the external hard drive, cartridge slot etc), when you run the MAME command with the new media type (e.g. MAME Systems support – I don’t know if this is a bug or intended operation (odd if it is), but for systems that have expansion modules that when connected add an additional media type there is a problem.
