I bought different plain white tea cups at the thrift store and the girls decorated them with paint Sharpies and then I sent home instructions for the parent to bake the tea cup. I found lots of different examples of these on Pinterest, so this was definitely not my idea but they turned out so cute!! I found the little wooden spoons at Marshalls and just had to get them. I used some vintage tablecloths from my mom as well as 2 different vintage tea sets. I also wanted to share some photos from the rest of the party.
We had dress up clothes and a big frame for props. They folded in half over a piece of twine and then I just glued them shut with a glue stick. The library at the Luxemore Grand Estate creates a literary, historic vibe. I made a garland out of bright colored doilies. The Orlando Science Center’s dinosaur room, the stunning lake shore at Paradise Cove, or gorgeous floor-to-ceiling bookcases all make for perfect, no-prep photo booth backdrops. Then I kept adding colors until I liked the way it looked. I used an old white sheet and some acrylic paint to create the confetti background. We did set up a little photo booth and it was such a fun little activity!
